A visitor to Sidmouth has admitted to sexually assaulting a woman in the town.
Dan Wachira, of Rainham, Essex, pleaded guilty to the offence and was remanded in custody by Judge David Evans at Exeter Crown Court last Thursday (December 6).
Miss Katie Churcher, prosecuting, said police were also investigating a second allegation, where a second woman was harassed in Sidmouth on the same day.
Judge Evans adjourned the case for a probation pre-sentence report and to allow Wachira to arrange legal representation.
The 34-year-old Wachira is next due to appear before the court on Thursday.
