A man has been airlifted to hospital after an accident in Salcombe Hill Road this morning (Tuesday).
The air ambulance, ambulance and police were called out following reports of a man in his 40s falling from a height, before being flown to Derriford Hospital with ‘serious but not life threatening’ injuries.
An ambulance spokesman said: “We were called just after 9am, reports of a male casualty that had fallen from some scaffolding. The male had a head injury.”
A police spokesman said officers were called just after 9.15am this morning.
He added: “His injuries are serious but not life threatening. He was taken by air ambulance to Derriford Hospital.”
