A 99 year old man was among two people injured in a serious collision that shut the A3052 for five hours.
Emergency services were called to the Bowd at 7.12pm last night (Monday) following a collision between an Audi A8 and a Rover 25.
A police spokesman said the occupants of the Rover, a 74-year-old woman and 99-year-old man, were taken to hospital by ambulance after sustaining ‘serious injuries’.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact the police on 101 quoting log 716, November 26.
