A 21-year-old man was arrested in Sidmouth in the early hours of Sunday morning.

A 21-year-old man was arrested in the early of hours of Sunday morning following reports of an assault in Fore Street.

Police were called at 1.10am on Sunday to an incident where a man was restrained.

A police spokeswoman said; “Police were called at around 1.10am to reports of an assault in Fore Street, Sidmouth on Sunday morning.

“A 21-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of actual bodily harm (ABH) and was released under investigation pending further enquiries.”
