A MAN from Sidmouth has appeared in court accused of the murder of a pensioner in the town.
Nicholas Jameson, 41, is charged with the murder of Brian Kemp, 71, from Nottingham.
During a brief appearance before magistrates sitting in Exeter on Saturday, Jameson was remanded in custody to appear before Exeter Crown Court.
Police would like to appeal for anyone with any information about this incident, particularly if they were in the Black Horse pub, in Old Fore Street, from late afternoon into the early evening on Thursday.
