ENTERPRISING Zoë Adey from Newton Poppleford has set up a pet sitting and dog walking service for pet owners living in East Devon.

Called Mary Puppins, Zoë decided to set up a service to offer animal owners the chance to have their pets cared for at home after finding it difficult to find a reliable dog walker for her own dogs when she worked full time.

"The stress of leaving all my other animals for one week per year to go on holiday meant that I couldn't relax and enjoy myself while I was away," she said.

"Not only do I look after all the pets in the household but I am also happy to bring in newspapers, post and even water household plants.

"Making a house looked 'lived in' can be a crime deterrent and offer extra piece of mind to owners."

She has a "lifetime" of experience in caring for all kinds of animals and also offers short term care for horses, donkeys, goats and chickens.

She can be contacted on (01395) 562923.
