Matt Booth wins town council by-election

The results of yesterday’s (Thursday) Sidmouth Town Council by-election have been announced.

Matt Booth was elected to the vacant west ward seat with 190 votes.

The other candidate vying for the position, Dee Hounsom, received 152 votes.

The turnout was 18.9 per cent.
