A MEDIA frenzy swept through Ottery St Mary last week as reporters from national newspapers and radio stations descended upon the town s allotments.

A MEDIA frenzy swept through Ottery St Mary last week as reporters from national newspapers and radio stations descended upon the town's allotments.

Thefts of fruit and vegetables from the site on Higher Ridgeway, which The Herald brought to light last month, has proved of particular interest to The Mirror, The Independent and The Western Morning News with events in Ottery garnering a mention in all three publications. BBC Radio Devon also payed the town a visit.
