THE Norman Lockyer Observatory at Salcombe Hill, Sidmouth, is expecting hundreds to attend this year s Southwest Astronomy Fair there on Saturday, August 9 from 9am to 6pm.
THE Norman Lockyer Observatory at Salcombe Hill, Sidmouth, is expecting hundreds to attend this year's Southwest Astronomy Fair there on Saturday, August 9 from 9am to 6pm.
It is hoped that popular astronomer Sir Patrick Moore will be well enough to attend the fair, which is the only one of its kind in the South West.
Entry is £5 for adults, £2.50 for children under 18. Lectures on topics such as star formation, kinetic skies and Sir Norman Lockyer, will cost £4 each.
