A dinner held in memory of one of Branscombe’s ‘big characters’ has raised £520 for the British Heart Foundation.
Teresa Hoare and Jon Woodley, of The Fountain Head, staged the event to remember the pub’s former bar manager Graham Williams, who died in October.
Some 60 guests enjoyed a four-course dinner, table quiz and raffle.
Teresa said: “Graham was such a big part of The Fountain Head and Branscombe for many years.
“He was a very popular man and will be greatly missed, not only by ourselves, but so many people who knew him.”
