The Met Office has issued a warning of severe or extreme weather across the entire South West region for Friday 5th September:
"Risk of disruption warning
Heavy Rain 0000 Fri 5 1800 Fri 5
Heavy rain will affect southern parts of the United Kingdom on Friday. Highest rainfall totals are likely to be across southwestern and western parts of England and South Wales, with accumulations in excess of 50 mm in places. The heavy rain will gradually turn showery from the southwest during the late morning and early afternoon."
You are advised to check weather forecasts before travelling, and to allow plenty of time for journeys.
