Mild weather turns nature “upside down” in Sidmouth

MILD winter weather has turned nature in Sidmouth “upside down”, according to a councillor.

Stuart Hughes said he was amazed when he went into his garden on New Year’s Eve and noticed an arum lily had started to bloom – four months early.
