Missing garden tools found in Harpford Woods

AN ARRAY of garden tools, including spades, a saw and auger, were discovered in Harpford Woods this morning (Thursday).

AN ARRAY of garden tools, including spades, a saw and auger, were discovered in Harpford Woods this morning (Thursday).

Now Sidmouth Police are keen to hear from anyone who may have had tools removed from their garden sheds recently.

A spokeswoman for Sidmouth Police said officers had been shown the hoard by a resident who discovered his wheelbarrow in the woods after it had been removed from a nearby yard.

A police spokeswoman said: "If anyone has lost any tools from the Newton Poppleford, Harpford area they should contact Sidmouth Police on (08452) 777 444.
