Fiona Clarke, of Salisbury, has set up a new group in the village which teaches the 'Little Voice' singers to belt their melodic tones out.
Showcasing the group, 'Seriously Occasional Singers' at the Activities Day two weeks ago, the response has been promising.
Fiona, who was musical director of the Salisbury Community Choir for 10 years, said: "I feel passionately about encouraging the timid singer to sing and thought that it might be a great idea to merge my passion for Beer with my passion for running singing workshops.
"The initial response has been very good with around 20 people signing up for the first workshop.
"I would like to thank Annie and Sarah for allowing me to be part of the Activities Fair and their support of my new venture."
Fiona, who has sung on the backing tracks of a variety of films, including the Curse of the Were Rabbit, The Omen and the Da Vinci Code, first visited Beer on holiday five years ago and has spent every October half-term there since.
She added: "I have noticed that Beer has a vibrant community feel and hopefully I will be able to give people the chance to enjoy their singing, no auditions needed, and sing some great relaxed repertoire.
"We will work on vocal technique so that everybody is encouraged to use their voices in a secure way and using gospel, jazz, african, easy pop and some light classical music we should be able to give everybody a chance to stretch their vocal chords outside the bathroom."
The first workshop will take place in the Mariners Hall on March 14 at 10am-12noon. The cost per person will be £5.
