Sidmouth Guides hold Mystical Munch to aid trip to centenary guide camp
THE Hayloft Restaurant in the grounds of Sidmouth Donkey Sanctuary will hold an Apple Juice Tasting Day from 10am on Wednesday, July 14. The fresh juice is produced by local source Sunnyhaye Fruit Farm, Woodbury, and will, from Wednesday onwards, be added to the drinks menu at the restaurant.
WOODLANDS: 1st Sidmouth Guides are holding a Mystical Munch at their guide headquarters in Lawn Vista, Sidmouth, tonight (Friday), July 9 to raise funds to pay for a once-in-a-lifetime trip to the Devon Centenary Guide Camp at Woodlands on September 17. Sid Vale Association’s Keith Owen Fund has given a grant to the guides to purchase new tents and camping equipment. The guides are baking cakes and puddings, which will be served at 7pm. Cost is �3 and tickets can be bought on the door. There will be games, entertainment and prize draw. It will be a special evening for guide leader Ann Elwood who celebrates her 60th birthday.
