OTTERY residents who were affected by the recent flooding are being urged to attend an event organised by The National Flood Forum next month. The forum will be at the Tourist Information Centre in Ottery st Mary on Friday, December 5 from 9am-5pm and Saturday, December 6 from 9am-4pm. The agency provides support and advice to communities and individuals that have been flooded and it is run by people who have experienced the trauma and loss that go with flooding. Flood victims will have the chance to speak to members of the forum on a variety of matters including insurance, products and they will be on hand to give constructive advice.
