Residents have a second chance to have their say on controversial plans for a 9.3-acre business park in Sidford.

New documents on Fords of Sidmouth’s application – to give ‘additional reassurance’ – mean a second consultation will run until September 16.

Concerns voiced so far include the impact on the roads, flooding, and a lack of demand for employment land.

One of the new documents says: “Creating and encouraging interaction between the employment uses and Sidford could be very supportive to the local community and the facilities it is offered.”

The application can be viewed on the district council’s website.
