New manager for Sidmouth care home
NEW deputy manager at Malden House Residential Care Home, Sidmouth, is Vanessa Powling, who will help registered manager Sharon Hunt run the 19-bed home for older people.
NEW deputy manager at Malden House Residential Care Home, Sidmouth, is Vanessa Powling, who will help registered manager Sharon Hunt run the 19-bed home for older people.
Vanessa, who has worked as a care assistant there since October 2009, said of her promotion: "I am delighted I have been offered the position, and very much look forward to supporting Sharon in the running of Malden House and helping to develop our great care team.
"I love working at Malden and one of my aims will be to ensure that our residents continue to receive the highest standards of care and attention."
Vanessa has more than 20 years experience of providing care for the elderly and has her NVQ level Three. She is looking forward to completing her NVQ level 4.
