Sidmouth’s newest shop launched with the help of the Tavy Tars bringing some sea shanties to Sea Salt.
The clothing store, in Royal London House, Fore Street, is the chain’s fourth outlet in Devon.
Staff offered mince pies, and to help set the ‘Coastal Christmas’ scene the singers from the Tavy Tars treated customers to some songs of the sea.
A spokesman for Sea Salt said they have been made to feel very welcome in Sidmouth, and are looking forward to a busy few months ahead.
