Louis Adey, eight, and little sister Chloe, five, took on the mammoth task of carving out the four stone fruit after their granddad Bernard White grew it for them.
It was the first time farmer Mr White had grown pumpkins for his family, and the result was a whopper as heavy as young Louis.
"It's the biggest one I've ever seen," said the eight-year-old.
