'No concerns' over Ottery caravan dweller

GYPSY liaison officials visited a caravan dweller who set-up home on Ottery s outskirts this week.

GYPSY liaison officials visited a caravan dweller who set-up home on Ottery's outskirts this week.

The caravan's appearance at land near Salston Corner has led to a string complaints and concerns being lodged Ottery town council.

A Devon County Council spokesman told the Herald: "One of our officers has visited the site. There is just one caravan a distance away from the road, which does not give us any highway related concerns for the moment. We will however continue to monitor the situation and if circumstances change we will reassess, and will take appropriate action.
