THESE teenagers are all keen to learn the guitar...but it is a challenge because they only have one instrument between them. The Sidmouth College pupils want to play the instrument during music lessons, instead of always having to use keyboards. Now music teacher Jenny Philip-Parsons is appealing for help from the Sidmouth community."I can teach them, but we do not have enough guitars. We think that many Sidmouth residents will have a guitar somewhere in their house, and we are asking for them to donate old guitars to us," she said. The college will re-string them so it doesn't matter if they have seen better days.If you can help, contact the college on (01395) 514823 or hand in guitar donations to reception at the Primley Road site.
