Moira Lascelles, 64, has organised an Ottery St Mary Girls School reunion in the Old Boys School, Yonder Street, tomorow (April 4) for ex-pupils born in the between 1940 and 1950, and is excited about seeing a few old faces.

An enthusiastic response has already seen the event have to move to a bigger venue

"We've had 46 people respond so far and word of mouth has spread so a few will be coming from far and wide. I wanted to get in touch with 'old Ottery' girls with whom we enjoyed such good times in the 1950's and 1960's.

Anybody wishing to attend can contact Moira, who's maiden name is Codling, on (01404) 811309 or by e-mailing girlsreunion@btinternet.com. Entry to the event is 1.50 per person.

Everyone who attends is asked to bring a plate, glass, cutlery and a small plate of food suitable for a buffet as well as a soft drink.
