PEOPLE are being encouraged to get on their bikes at Newton Poppleford next week for the annual Bike, Ride and Stride Day.
Organised by Devon Historic Churches Trust, an all-age group on bicycles will be setting out from St Luke's Church at 9.30am on Saturday, September 12.
The aim is visit a couple of dozen churches in the Otter Valley and lunches are being provided in the Loft at Ottery Parish Church.
All money raised will help restore and protect historic churches and chapels in the county.
