School’s online auction of promises is a chance to grab a bargain and help raise much-needed funds.

Sidmouth Primary School PTFA is one week into their online auction of promises, which went live on Friday, June 25. The auction has a wide variety of promises and items available to bid on including: reflexology treatments, massages, luxury food and children hampers, music lessons, family days out and high street vouchers and more.

Fundraising for the school has been difficult over the last year with the PTFA having been unable to run the usual school Christmas and spring fairs. So the group decided that an online auction could be the way forward.

Claire Housden, PTFA chairperson said: “We are super excited about the auction and hopefully it will raise some wonderful funds for the school. At such a difficult time people and businesses have been so fabulously generous, we can’t thank them enough.
“It would not have been possible to hold the event without the fantastic support of local businesses, teachers and parents, who have all shown amazing support.

“This is a brilliant opportunity for you to get involved and bid on items for birthday presents, gifts, even early Christmas presents or maybe just a treat for yourself. So do not miss the opportunity to grab yourself a bargain and help to raise funds for the school while you are at it. The auction finishes at 10am on Saturday, July 10. You can see all the wonderful items and make your bids at www.auctionofpromises.com/SidmouthPrimaryAuction.
