Owners of Hillside, a residential property in Bickwell Valley, Sidmouth, are welcoming visitors to view their garden in aid of Hospiscare this weekend.

Kate Peirce from Hillside said: “Being keen gardeners, we set about renovating an over-mature when we moved in in Sept 2015 and feel that now is the time to start raising for Hospice.”

The garden is a colourful town garden with the emphasis on many roses.
A new feature this year is a ‘Rope and Post’ walk planted with new roses and clematis.
There are shrubs and herbaceous beds too, and lots of ideas for people to take home to their own gardens.

A plant stall, teas, coffees, juice, homemade cakes, and of course cream teas, will be available.
Parking is on the roadside in Bickwell Valley or 10 minutes from the Manor Road car park.
Wheelchair access is limited and the garden is set along a steep slope, so not for the faint hearted.

The garden at Hillside, Bickwell Valley, EX10 8SG, is open on Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 from 1pm-6pm.
Admission is £4 and dogs are permitted on leads.
