RESIDENTS have been asked to open their secluded gardens to the public and boost Sidmouth in Bloom.
The event is planned to take place from Thursday, June 28 until Monday, July 2, inclusive.
“The open gardens’ success in past years has been due to the hard-working, hospitable green-fingered people,” said Sidmouth in Bloom chairman Lynette Talbot.
“We would like around eight to 10 gardens, from very small to very large, to take part. They can be very new gardens or well established ones.
“Participants can open either morning or afternoon, for any number of days during that time.
“Some enthusiasts may be able to serve teas.” Details contact Lynette on 01395 578081.
