A CAMPAIGN aimed at people living alone and potentially at risk of fire, has been launched by Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue Service after crews attended four fatal fires since April involving people on their own.
As part of a major campaign called Operation Home Alone, members of the public and staff from other agencies will be asked to provide details of people they know who may be at risk from fire to the Service.
They will be offered fire safety advice, a home safety visit and, if necessary, the fitting of smoke detectors.
