THE club assembly and handover meeting for Otter Valley Rotary Club took place last month. President Tim Smith presented the Frank and Renee Trophy to Nick Agg-Manning, who Tim and his successor felt had contributed most to the club in the past year.
Following the presentation the handover took place, from Tim to new president Andrew Thomas. The President Elect's neck chain was passed to Ken Chun, who in turn passed his Vice President chain to Paul Shingler.
In his incoming speech Andrew drew attention to fundraising, helping the community and 'having fun', which were key to Tim's presidency.
Guest of honour at the meeting was Assistant District Governor, Trevor Wrixon.
