Otter Valley Rotary Club have released details of a fundraising event later this month that will enable participants to enjoy fresh air and exercise.
The club’s summer fun run will take place on Monday, July 26. The run gets under way at 6.30pm and starts from the Land of Caanan car park in the town.
It costs £5 to enter for adults, £2 for under 16s and £10 for a family group - and the organisers are hoping for a bumper turnout of runners keen to shake off the effects of lockdown inactivity. It’s also a great opportunity to drum up some sponsorship for a good cause or just run for fun with family and friends. Refreshments will be provided at the finishing line.
The run is three and a half miles long and takes participants round Ottery. Marshalls will be on the route for safety and guidance.
The closing date for entries is July 23. You can enter the event online at this address: summerfunrun21@gmail.com
