TOP of a Top 10 list of places to enjoy cream teas is Otterton Mill near Sidmouth.
The mill's organic scones, made on the premises at Otterton, wowed travel guide publisher DK Travel, producers of the list.
Listed seventh is Georgian Tea Room, Topsham.
Mill owners Simon and Caroline Spiller were delighted at being number one.
"Our cream teas are certainly one of our best sellers, especially as customers are now asking for them throughout the day.
"During an average week at this time of year, we sell around 1000 cream teas a week." said Caroline.
"We are delighted to be recognised again for the quality of our food and for contributing in a small way to the great quality of life in the South West.
