TEEN thieves pounced on a stunned Ottery shopper in broad daylight last Thursday, snatching his bag and cash before fleeing.

A police hunt is now on for two teenage suspects after the victim, a local man in his forties, said the duo yanked a bag from his hand and made off with money as he walked down Hind Street during the late afternoon of September 17.

The second youth is described of being aged between 15 and 16 years old, and also of medium build, with short brown hair and a "small" face.
