Ottery bag snatch is daylight robbery
TEEN thieves pounced on a stunned Ottery shopper in broad daylight last Thursday, snatching his bag and cash before fleeing.

A police hunt is now on for two teenage suspects after the victim, a local man in his forties, said the duo yanked a bag from his hand and made off with money as he walked down Hind Street during the late afternoon of September 17.
Police are looking for two youths, both male, and want anybody who may have witnessed the incident to contact them.
One of the men is described as white, around five feet, eight inches tall, of medium build, with cropped ginger hair. He was clean shaven, about 17 to 18 years old and believed to be wearing a royal blue polo shirt, black trousers and black shoes.

The second youth is described of being aged between 15 and 16 years old, and also of medium build, with short brown hair and a "small" face.
