Children can get involved this year at the charity race in Ottery St Mary after the introduction of a fun run in aid of FORCE.

The annual 10 kilometre charity race in Ottery starts from the cricket club on Strawberry Lane on May 15 at 10.30am but there will also be a one mile fun run for young runners. Set up by local estate agent Nick Hall a number of years ago and later renamed after the death of his wife, ‘Karen Hall’s Ottery 10K Race’ is a chance to get people in the town running and help raise money for the cancer charity.

There will be a barbeque, bar, ice cream van, medical support from St John’s Ambulance and trainee physios offering sports massages to runners, with prizes for the top three men and women, and a t-shirt fro every competitor.
