Ottery concerts hailed a success

MUSIC fans received a double delight in Ottery last week as two concerts packed the parish church.
MUSIC fans received a double delight in Ottery last week as two concerts packed the parish church.
A performance by the Budleigh Salterton Male Voice Choir (pictured) raised �500 for church funds last Saturday. The group was joined by guest soloist soprano Val Howells.
Last Tuesday, around 170 people turned out to enjoy a concert by the Cologne New Philharmonic Orchestra.
The orchestra, founded in 1972, performed its interpretation of work by Vivaldi, Bach, Handel, Mozart and Holst .
