HOLIDAYMAKERS who have booked trips through a high-street Ottery travel agent have "no need to worry" despite the firm going into administration this week.

Ottery's Mill Street branch of Harvey World Travel will be re-branded as a Vacation World after being snapped up by the company and owners have insisted all customers' holidays are protected and staff jobs secure.

Simon Maunder, who is running Vacation World on an interim basis, said: "We have big ambitions in Ottery and it is actually great news for the town. We have already re-located a call centre to the premises and taken on four new staff there since all this happened last Friday. Customers holidays are all protected and there is no need to worry.
