THE sudden death of an Ottery woman last week is not being treated as suspicious, police have said. Officers were called to a Higher Spring Gardens address early last Wednesday (May20) after a family member of the woman, said to be in her 50's, dialled 999. The woman's body was later removed from the property. A police spokeswoman said: "At around 9.40am we received a call from a family member to report a sudden death in Higher Spring Gardens, Ottery St Mary. It is not being treated as suspicious and we passed this message to the coroner.
