OTTERY Firefighters today rescued a kitten with its head trapped in a washing machine on Tuesday.

OTTERY Firefighters today rescued a kitten with its head trapped in a washing machine on Tuesday.

The crew was called to a home at Hillside, Payhembury, shortly after 2pm.

The stricken kitten's head had become caught in the front of the machine, firefighters used small tools to free it.
