Firefighters from Ottery St Mary were on scene for nearly an hour after a vehicle caught fire on the B3180.
The crew were sent to Exeter Road, Ottery, shortly before 9.15am today (Friday), after a car was reported to be ‘well alight’ on a public highway.
On arrival, the crew used compressed air foam, a hydraulic combi tool and breathing apparatus to tackle to fire, which was extinguished an hour later at 10.12am.
