Ottery St Mary & District Help Scheme are looking for people to help out with the much needed support provided to local residents in times of illness.
Based at the Coleridge Medical Centre, the scheme provides a number of services which provide volunteering opportunities, including providing transport to medical appointments or visiting people at home and helping out with small practical tasks.
A spokesman for the charity said: “A little bit of your time goes a long way to helping someone else, we all need a helping hand sometime in our life.”
