CARNIVAL season is now upon Ottery and the town is hotting up for the traditional Tar Barrells on November 5.
Ottery's Carnival Procession will take place on Saturday, November 1 at 7.30pm and will begin from Finnimore Industrial Estate. A free firework display will take place at 9.30pm in the Land of Canaan.
The procession is part of a programme of events the Carnival Committee have organised for the enjoyment of townsfolk.
Following coffee morning, bingo session and disco festivities which have already taken place, a Halloween party will take place at the Football Club on October 31 from 6pm to 8pm.
The Tar Barrels festivities will begin at 4pm on November 5, starting with the junior barrel at the Land of Canaan.
