AWARD winning, green fingered Ottery group members are bloomin' determined the town will get a golden seal of floral recognition next year.
Having picked up a silver South West in Bloom gong against the odds in September, Ottery in Bloom chairman Sarah Clarke wants to build public support and go one step further in the competition.
Sarah said: "To achieve a gold award there is a need for additional support from the community, with maybe volunteers watering or maintaining one small display from June to September.
"With points awarded by the judges for environmental matters and conservation, it is not only green fingers that can help us.
