A KITTEN who was dumped in an Ottery St Mary alleyway found a new home last week after a short stay at the town's vets.

The Ottery Veterinary Clinic had been seeking an owner for the female kitten, who had been left in a cardboard box and was found by a passer by in Picadilly Lane last Tuesday.

The kitten had taken up temporary residence at the vets on Mill street until a suitable owner came forward last Friday.
