MUMS in Ottery will be asked what they think about the potential ‘loss’ of post-natal care at a valued East Devon maternity unit.
Campaigners, who say they are battling to retain overnight services in Honiton, this week launched an online survey.
Thousands of district residents have voiced fears new mums could lose the chance to stay overnight at the revered unit from next month after restrictions in service earlier this year.
Ottery town councillor Claire Wright said: “We think it’s important to get feedback on how the changes affect mums experience of birth, breast-feeding and ability to cope afterwards.”
Anyone can e-mail Councillor Roger Giles for a link to the survey at roger.giles@devon.gov.uk.
