Staffing difficulties at Ottery hospital’s minor injuries unit (MIU) have forced the service to temporarily relocate to the town’s medical centre.
The MIU will operate on reduced opening hours of 8.30am to 1pm at the Coleridge Medical Centre until Monday, August 18.
A spokesperson for the Northern Devon Healthcare Trust said the move was due to ‘short-term staffing difficulties at the hospital MIU’.
Janet Phipps, operations director for the Trust, said: “We would like to thank Coleridge Medical Centre for stepping in to provide the service in the interim and apologise for any disruption the temporary change may cause.”
