A GARDEN party in Longdogs Lane on Saturday raised a purr-fect 648 for the East Devon Cats Protection branch.
Homeless kittens were on show at the event which also featured cream teas, homemade cakes and stalls.
Organiser Sheila Down said: "Luckily we had a huge area covered with gazebo's to keep the stalls dry and the added attraction of having kittens certainly made the afternoon. There was lots of cuddling of those adorable bundles of fur and hopefully prospective homes will have come from the afternoon.
