Ottery is preparing to rock out and raise money to support refugee families with the return of a popular concert.

Rock for Refugees returns Saturday, March 4, at the Institute following the success of last year’s event.

Ottery Refugee Group is raising funds for ABIDE, Refugee Aid from Taunton (RAFT) and Refugee Support Devon (RSD) to assist with their projects to support families fleeing conflict in need.

Crowds will be treated to a top line-up of artists including CaveMouth, who will bring a blend of funk, hip hop, blues and rock to the evening.

A band spokesman said: “CaveMouth are super excited about playing this show - a great way to do something positive in this messed up world we live in, and a reminder that many people have to live under much harsher conditions than we do”.

South West folk duo Solarface is also set to play and there will be sets from DJs Kitty Swag and Dick Curtaine.

Locally-sourced food from Coldharbour Farm and a licensed bar will be on offer.
