OTTERY'S United Reformed Church hopes to welcome back residents who have broken the church-going habit with a special service tomorrow (September 28).
Back to Church Sunday saw more than 20,000 people across the country attend services last year and has seen a mass-coordinated effort by the Church of England to attract newcomers and "returners".
Ottery URC elder Philip Scoble will lead the service which begins at 10.30am. He said: "We hope to renew old friendships and make bridges with people for whom church is an alien experience.
