AN EAST Hill car park has been newly promoted on a pornographic website as a hotspot where people go to have outdoor sex.
The area, popular with walkers and famous for its view out over Ottery, is named on a site dedicated to 'swingers' in a list of 'dogging' locations- an activity which involves sexual exhibitionism and voyeurism.
On the website, one hopeful encourages couples, single women and bisexual men to join him on East Hill, saying: "It's very private...no-one goes there and no police ever patrol it. It's an ideal spot as this is a new area, there is a lot of fun possible up there."
Another website also identifies the area's car parks, boasting: "Dogging in Devon is becoming so popular that soon the famous Devon cream tea will be the second most popular thing."

A Devon and Cornwall Constabulary spokesman said anyone caught having sex in a public place could find themselves arrested and in court for outraging public decency.
He said: "It could be a public order offence depending on where and when it happened."
"People have been arrested for it before."
"East Hill car park is a public place and if people going about their lawful business there, dog walking for example, and were outraged by any activity there would be arrests.
