A GARDEN party at Tipton St John's Angela Court Care Home next weekend will boost for a much-valued Ottery service.

Proceeds from the event, on July 22, will be split between the Ottery and District Help Scheme, which provides a voluntary car service for local residents, and the home's comforts fund.

"We've ordered good weather," said manager Emma Seal.

Festivities will include pony rides, a barbecue, cream teas, book and cake stalls and a table top sale. The event will take place form 2.30pm to 5.30pm.
