OTTERY shoppers, terrified of venturing out of town on weekends, can take advantage of a special Halloween Community Market on Saturday (October 31).
The monthly event will take a ghoulish twist in The Institute from 9.30am to 12.30pm - by featuring a best-dressed pumpkin competition.
Pumpkins need to be entered by 11am at the event, for judging at 11.30am.
The popular market will boast items from organic flowers to Ottery honey, fresh vegetables to home-made cakes as well as furniture, works-of-art, and children's clothing.
Fair-trade jewellery, face painting and second-hand books will also feature.
